I have received your questionnaire about our agent Curt Karls and I feel that there is much to be said about him that is not asked for on the form. Dustin and I have nothing but praise and good words for Curt. We know that he went far beyond his call of duty as an agent and we appreciate him greatly. I think you should know exactly what he went through for us and how he represented your company with nothing but excellence.
Curt was referred to us by an inquiry on the Edina website and was very prompt to get in contact with us, he had arranged a showing for us the next morning. Throughout this whole process Curt was very timely and eager to please, he set meetings around our schedule, met us at our apartment for papers so we wouldn’t have to keep going across town and was very thorough with everything that needed to be went over and signed. He always kept us informed of what was going on and never once complained about our frequent calls to him about changes.
The day that impressed us the most was the day that we were supposed to close on our house and didn’t. Curt met with us the morning before close to go through the house one more time, after leaving the house we found out that our closing time was changed from 1 pm to 3 pm because the bank was not ready. We got a call at 3 pm saying that the paper work would take 15 minutes to fax and then we would be ready to sign. Curt sat with us at the title company for 2 hours waiting for the paper work to be faxed, he was very polite and personable the whole time. After about an hour of patiently waiting her called the banker to see what was holding us up and he was very polite to her too. He never lost his professionalism once, not even when our banker hung up on him. Around 5 pm we found out that we were not going to close that day and would have to wait over the weekend until Monday. Since we did not have a place to live until Monday we were very frantic and upset, Curt stayed to talk to us even though he was now late to pick his children up from daycare. He even offered to pay for a hotel for us until we could close on the house when none of this was his fault!
Dustin and I feel that you have an excellent employee and that he should be commended for his outstanding customer service. We will without a doubt recommend Curt Karls to anyone who says they are looking for a real estate agent. We never felt like we were only a means to money, Curt always acted like a friend who was working on our side to get what was best for us. We are very grateful that we could work with an agent like Curt; we appreciate him and your company greatly and we love our new house!"
