Horseshoe Chain of Lakes
The popular Horseshoe Chain of Lakes, located in Richmond, Minnesota, consists of 14 lakes. This chain offers countless hours of boating, fishing and snowmobiling. There are many homes, cabins and resorts, that dwell on the shores of this chain.
Becker Lake - Location: Richmond

- State owned access is present on the Sauk River, east of the lake, off CSAH 22, in S24. The lake is also navigable from Horseshoe Lake
Bolfing Lake

- The lake is accessible by a navigable channel from Knaus Lake
Cedar Island Lake / East Lake / Koetter Lake / Mud Lake

Great Northern Lake

Knaus Lake / Park Lake

- No public access, however the lake can be reached by navigable channels from Krays Lake and the Sauk River (from Cold Spring)
Krays Lake
- Location: Cold Spring
- Lake Area: 85 Acres
- Maximum Depth: 40 feet
- Water Clarity: N/A
- Shoreline is mostly developed with homes and cabins
- The lake has no public access, however it is accessible via navigable channels from both Knaus and Great Northern Lakes
Long Lake
- Location: Richmond
- Lake Area: 460 Acres
- Maximum Depth: 35 feet
- Water Clarity: 3.5 feet
- Shoreline is mostly developed with homes and cabins
- The state owned public access is located on the west side of the lake's southern basin. The lake is accessible from Horseshoe Lake
Schneider Lake

- The lake is accessible from other lakes in the chain by a channel from Great Northern lake
Zumwalde Lake
- Location: Richmond

Big Fish Lake
Location: Five miles north of Cold Spring Lake Shoreline : 5.8 miles Lake Area : 558 Acres Maximum Depth: 70 feet Water Clarity: 12 feet Highly developed with almost 200 homes and cottages as well as one small resort 
Big Watab Lake
- Location: Eight miles north of Cold Spring, 3 miles south of Avon
- Lake Area: 227 Acres
- Maximum Depth: 123 feet – Deepest lake in Stearns County
- Water Clarity: 10 feet
- Shoreline is mostly developed with homes and cabins
- A public access with a boat ramp and parking for 12 vehicles is located on the north end of the lake
Grand Lake
- Location: One mile south of Rockville, four miles south/east of Cold Spring
- Lake Area: 655 Acres
- Maximum Depth: 34 feet
- Water Clarity: 4 feet
- Shoreline is mostly developed with homes and cabins
- A public access with a boat ramp and parking is located on the south end of the lake

- "Community Park Access"is on the south side of the lake in Tri-County Regional Park
- "Veteran's Park Access"on the east side of the north bay , across the road from the park. Cooperative access with the DNR and Paynesville
Pearl Lake
